We're a growing residential remodeling company based in the Seattle area looking for a sharp, organized Admin & Accounting Manager to join our team. You'll be the backbone of our back office — keeping our books clean, our vendors happy, and our financials clear.
What you'll own:
Accounts Receivable — invoicing clients, tracking payments, following up on outstanding balances
Accounts Payable — processing vendor and supplier invoices, managing payment schedules
Sales tax compliance — calculating, filing, and staying current with Washington State requirements
Subcontractor payments — processing pay applications, tracking lien waivers, maintaining payment records
Vendor & supplier coordination — managing orders, purchase tracking, and account relationships
Profit & Loss analysis — reviewing financials, flagging variances, and providing clear summaries to ownership
General office administration — supporting daily operations and keeping internal processes organized
What we're looking for:
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in the construction industry required
Strong knowledge of AR, AP, and job costing principles
Comfortable reading and analyzing a P&L statement
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Familiarity with Washington State sales tax rules
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing small business environment
Nice to have
Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction project management software
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
