Job Title: Physical Therapists - PT THER - Travel
Start Date: 06/15/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Hours: 40 per week | Shift: 8 hours, days | Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities
Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for various patient populations in the acute care setting.
Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
Bill within the setting following guidelines for the facility.
Understand and comply with the state board's rules and regulations.
Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care.
Understand adaptive equipment.
Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition.
Use medical center computer systems in performing daily tasks.
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience; up to 1 year of experience preferred. New graduates encouraged.
BLS certification and state‑specific licensing.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment.
BLS, ABPTS, and 2 years of experience.
