PATIENT CARE TECH

Responsibilities
Full‑time position, 36 hours per week, night shift schedule with possible overtime and shift coverage opportunities.
Performs various customer care activities in the patient care area: monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and patient care tasks. Willing to cross‑train and float to meet facility needs.
Job Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology.
Completion of a formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants; possesses state CNA certification.
Licensed CNA in the state of Florida (as of 8/1/2013). Current employees may be transferred into this updated role if they meet education and experience requirements.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Good communication skills to relate to customers.
Ability to perform ECGs.
Computer skills: order entry and ADT function.
