
Machinist CNC 3rd Shift

Position Summary
Perform physical operations on a machining center. Organize cell workflow and properly plan necessary machining sequence(s) for optimal OEE. Understand and meet all inspection requirements for compliance to the appropriate drawings and referenced specification.
Individual Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies
Through monitoring and measurement, assure that all products meet the customer expectations
Assure that all manufacturing and quality related tools/materials are in calibration and of the latest revision
Plan machining by having a fluent understanding of assets and related equipment.
Review all specifications and prints/drawings and programs. Understand all GD&T requirements.
Machine set-up with program downloading and editing fluency. Asset control knowledge ‘Fanuc or Siemens’ interface and the knowledge to navigate the control to improve operations.
Maintain the work cell and environment to premium standards.
Team Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Calibrate and ensure proper use and care of inspection and test equipment
Maintain work area in compliance with good housekeeping practices and 6s principles
Provide feedback for C.I. and any issues necessary for compliance
Make and populate Daily T.P.M. / 6s operator interface checks
Collect quality target data for reporting by CNC Machining Cell as defined
Participate in company promoted events such as 6s, TPM and other operational C.I. programs
Export Control
This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
