
CNC Turn Operator 3rd Shift

Position Summary
Perform physical operations of a machining center. Organize workflow and plan machining sequences. Meet inspection requirements for compliance to drawings and specifications. This is a 3rd shift position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Through monitoring and measurement, assure that products meet customer expectations
Plan machining by having understanding of assets and related equipment
Understand all GD&T requirements for any given process
Machine setup along with program downloading and editing
Asset knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens interface and the knowledge to navigate the control to improve operations
Understanding of tooling, knowledge of turning and drilling tools
Maintain work cell to premium standards
Education and Skill Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Previous machining experience and practices
Blueprint and GD&T knowledge
Export Control
This position requires access to exported‑controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
