Role Description
This is a part-time, possibly full-time, on-site role for a Circulating Nurse at our facility in Boca Raton, FL. The Circulating Nurse will oversee and facilitate the smooth workflow of surgical procedures in the operating room; specifically spine and orthopedic procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring proper equipment setup, maintaining a sterile environment, supporting surgical teams, monitoring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation during procedures.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Surgical Nursing and Operating Room procedures
Experience and knowledge in Perioperative care and practices
Proficiency in general Nursing practices and understanding of Medicine
Attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, and excellent problem-solving skills
State nursing license in good standing and active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus
At least 1 year of experience in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Surgery Center setting preferred
