Position Summary
As the Health Services Administrator, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations of the facility’s healthcare delivery system, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high‑quality patient care. You will serve as the bridge between clinical teams, facility leadership, and corporate partners.
Direct and manage all administrative functions of the health services unit, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, ACA, and NCCHC standards
Serve as the primary liaison between healthcare staff, facility administration, and corporate leadership
Supervise department operations including nursing, medical records, pharmacy, lab, and support services
Lead staff meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and committee functions (CQI, P&T, and others), ensuring communication and documentation are timely and effective
Oversee staff scheduling, coverage, and time‑off approvals to maintain operational continuity
Manage employee relations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and corrective actions
Coordinate and monitor the healthcare budget, supplies, and equipment to ensure cost‑effective operations
Ensure accurate and timely submission of all required reports, statistics, and documentation
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and ensure confidentiality of all medical records
Collaborate with clinical leadership on patient care issues, specialty referrals, and outside medical services coordination
Respond to grievances, audits, and risk management inquiries, implementing corrective action plans as needed
Support staff training initiatives, including CPR and required in‑service education
Participate in internal audits, quality improvement programs, and interdisciplinary collaboration efforts

Requirements
Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice
Active CPR certification
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Administrative and/or correctional healthcare experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a structured, fast‑paced environment
