Duties
Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Collect data on client progress
Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
Assist with behavior management strategies and crisis intervention, as needed
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approach
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client sessions and progress
Desired Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
Spanish speaker
Have a Registered Behavior Technician credential or commit to earning one within 90 days of hire including a willingness to sit for RBT exam (all training and supervision provided by ABA Therapy LLC)
Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Spanish speakers preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
Background check
Reliable transportation to travel to client homes or other designated locations
