Copier Setup Technician II

The copier setup technician II is responsible for leading large/complex projects and preparing all new copier equipment for sale, ensuring quality assurance standards are met or exceeded.

Essential Functions

Act as the primary point of contact and lead on large/complex setup projects including Interterritorial, Enhanced Copier Solutions, multi‑machine multi‑location deals and tracking supporting documentation via Share Point or relevant tools.

Perform assembly and setup of equipment using proper checklists, prioritizing based on the schedule.

Troubleshoot issues during setup, using available resources to ensure proper setup, exceeding quality assurance standards.

Test all functions following guidelines set by the setup checklist.

Clean all surfaces of equipment to acceptable quality assurance standards.

Perform all necessary administrative functions in ERP and fill out all applicable documents to support the setup process.

Move products in and around the distribution centers and to/from off‑site storage.

Accurately and completely follow setup checklist/guidelines.

Order all parts and supplies needed for setup.

Prepare all new product for delivery.

Accurately maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures in a timely manner, including time entry.

Maintain and promptly clean all workspaces.

Maintain 85% accountable time, including approved training.

Qualifications

High school diploma and two years of experience in a technical/mechanical role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Associate degree preferred.

Required Skills

Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Demonstrates attention to detail.

Pay Range
$22.10 - $33.20 hourly
