Position Details
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts)

Responsibilities
Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
Oversee and supervise PTAs and therapy technicians.
Create and modify plans of care based on patient condition and facility guidelines.
Bill accurately and in compliance with facility and insurance guidelines.
Adhere to the rules and regulations of the state’s physical therapy board.
Collaborate with medical center personnel, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
Utilize the medical center’s computer systems for daily documentation and reporting.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of physical therapy experience; new graduates encouraged.
BLS certification and current state licensing required.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
