TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
Position: Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week, 10 hours per day
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
Bill and manage documentation within the facility following system guidelines
Ensure compliance with state PT board rules and regulations
Collaborate with Medical Center personnel and physicians to create a team‑focused plan of care
Educate patients on the use of adaptive equipment
Evaluate patients, develop and modify plans of care based on clinical outcomes
Utilize Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and insurance guidelines
Qualifications
Licensed physical therapist in the state of practice
Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred); new graduates encouraged
Board‑certified BLS certification
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Additional certifications may be required before assignment
