The Process Engineer will play a key role in advancing manufacturing capabilities by developing and improving processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives for a precision aerospace machining manufacturer. This position works cross-functionally with Manufacturing and Process Engineering teams to support a robust aerospace customer base.

Description
Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing processes while maintaining compliance to design specifications
Programming of equipment, creation of CNC code, and tool path simulation
Create and maintain manufacturing methods, bill of materials and labor standards in ERP system
Participate in C.I. and cost reduction/process improvements
Design and validation of tooling, fixtures, gages and equipment
Troubleshoot and solve manufacturing problems in a machining environment
Support customer complaints and concerns
Provide support for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Profile
A successful Process Engineer should have:
Experience in process optimization and manufacturing within high-mix, low-volume environments
Expertise in MasterCAM software
Experience with Vericut software or similar software is strongly preferred
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulationsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of GD&T principles
Hands-on knowledge of multi-axis (4-5+) CNC machining and manual machining processes
Educational background in engineering is preferred but not required
Job Offer
Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $115,000, depending on experience
