Budget Analyst (Associate) – Juno Beach, FL (Onsite)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Budget Analyst (Associate) to join their accounting and finance team. This is a 6-month contract position based onsite in Juno Beach, Florida. You will play a key role in trade capture, risk monitoring, and financial reporting, working closely with both the finance and IT teams to support continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Capture trades into the SOX application and execute end-of-day recaps and reports
Verify positions and monitor daily Value at Risk (VaR) and other risk-related measures
Reconcile broker and external statements associated with transactions
Provide management with daily Profit and Loss (P&L) and pricing information
Handle Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and other clearing transactions
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects
Assist with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
Support the development and execution of the trade capture platform in collaboration with the IT team
Develop ad-hoc reports using SQL and Power BI
Create and automate Excel-based reports using macros as needed
Required Qualifications
0–5 years of professional experience in a budget, finance, or accounting role
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macro development
Familiarity with SQL and Power BI for reportingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL (standard shift: 8 AM – 5 PM, 40 hours/week)
Preferred Skills
Experience with SOX applications or trade capture systems
Knowledge of risk management concepts (e.g., Value at Risk)
Background in process improvement or project support
