Position Summary
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM. 100% onsite.

Manager, Commercial Operations
is responsible for leading the transition of client programs following contract execution, serving as the primary business contact for assigned portfolios, and driving cross‑functional alignment for efficient delivery and seamless client experience.
Responsibilities
Act as a subject‑matter expert on segment offerings, capabilities, and business processes, providing guidance across internal teams.
Partner with Program Management to support client relationships and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to address critical client needs and drive aligned execution.
Analyze market trends, client needs, and portfolio gaps to inform commercial strategy and identify new opportunities.
Support business development strategy through input on targeting, account planning, pricing, and participation in S&OP and demand planning processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum eight years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device environments (e.g., manufacturing, quality, project management, business development, or commercial operations).
Working knowledge of biologics, including cell and gene therapy, fermentation, cell culture, purification, fill/finish, and analytical services preferred.
Strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to interpret data and inform decision‑making.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross‑functional stakeholders, including presenting complex information to leadership.
Highly self‑directed, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Salary Range
The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $145,000 – $165,000 plus an annual bonus target. The final salary offered may vary depending on experience, skillset, education, and business needs.
