Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Job Description
Our Property Managers get to work independently at multiple locations; spending time both inside and outside
We assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability helps make sure spaces are ready to rent
Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits are part of the daily business
We help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
Responsibilities
Work flexible, full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm)
Assess customer needs and recommend storage solutions and related products
Perform daily inspections and maintain unit availability
Handle cash, deposits, and reconcile cash drawers
Follow up on payments and perform collections as needed
Qualifications
Experience in customer service-centered sales environments (retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based roles) is preferred
Valid driver’s license and ability to use own vehicle to travel between locations (mileage reimbursement available)
Ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds
Ability to work up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including walking, stairs, and opening large doors
Ability to perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks (sweeping/mopping interior areas; keeping exterior grounds clean)
