Job Summary
The Supply Chain Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining established stock levels in supply areas for assigned hospital units, medical group locations, and off-site points of care. This includes counting current stock levels, picking tickets from inventory locations, organizing and facilitating just-in-time deliveries to assigned units, and checking supplies for expiration. The role maintains relationships with clinicians and provides real-time updates on product disruptions and changes.

The Supply Chain Specialist I aims to elevate service levels, standardize processes across the system, and ensure clinicians have what they need to deliver high-quality patient care.
What You Will Do
Monitor, count, and record inventory levels for all medical supplies in assigned PAR locations
Deliver medical supplies to departments and ensure timely replenishment and put-away of stock in PAR locations
Pick, pack, stage, and deliver supplies for internal orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply areas and stockrooms, including rotating stock and expiration checks
Foster and maintain relationships with department staff and respond to supply requests using department phones, vocera, or pagers
Enter data accurately into handhelds, computers, and expiration logs using Endeavor technology; check email regularly for updates
Participate in departmental initiatives such as process improvement, implementations, or regulatory readiness
Adhere to Endeavor policies, infection control protocols, and Joint Commission environment of care and supply management standards
What You Will Need
Education: High school Diploma or GED
Certification: Driver’s license may be required; Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) is admired
Experience: Prior experience in warehousing or inventory management is preferred but not required; hospital experience is preferred but not required
Skills: Works effectively with diverse teams; adaptable to a changing healthcare environment; strong data accuracy and process documentation; clear communication with stakeholders; proactive problem-solving; patient- and staff-focused improvements
Ability to learn and utilize handheld scanners, PCs, and Endeavor ERP systems
Physical Demands
Medium work; ability to exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 30 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
