
Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary
Working alongside Production Leadership, the Quality Control Specialist plays a critical role in protecting the integrity, completeness, and reliability of our data. This position handles sensitive client information and the images captured by our photographers—making accuracy not just a priority, but a responsibility. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to identify errors, implement quality controls, and help establish the standards that keep our data trustworthy at scale. Responsibilities
Assist with the quality control of student data and support the overall organizational needs of the department
Audit records to identify missing values, duplicates, inaccuracies, and inconsistencies across data sets
Compare data sources and flag discrepancies, with a focus on names, addresses, and other sensitive client information
Follow established validation rules and quality checklists to catch errors proactively—before they become bigger problems
Correct errors in our systems and spreadsheets, keeping records accurate and current across all sources
Communicate findings, root causes, and resolutions clearly to internal teams
Perform other tasks as needed to support Production and QC Leadership
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Extremely detail-oriented and methodical— you don't skip steps
Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets
Clear communicator who can explain issues and resolutions in plain language
Flexible availability, including weekends during high-volume periods
Must be able to commute to our Alpharetta, GA office
Must be able to pass a background check
Prior experience in data entry or operations is a plus— not required
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment regularly.
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach within an office environment.
Ability to lift and move items up to 15 lbs., such as files, office supplies, or equipment.
Comfortable working in a standard indoor office setting with moderate noise levels.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through virtual meeting platforms.
