CAPEX Project Manager

LHH is currently seeking a direct hire CAPEX Project Manager in Momence, IL to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Serving as a key liaison between cross‑functional teams and senior leadership, the Project Manager applies strong technical expertise and project management discipline throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead CAPEX projects across multiple manufacturing sites

Deliver scope, schedule, budget, and safe execution aligned to business goals.

Manage full lifecycle (FEL, engineering, approval, construction, startup, closeout)

Oversee EHS/GMP compliance, value engineering, contractor/vendor bids, and stakeholder reporting.

Provide technical support to plant teams as needed.

Required

BS Chemical Engineering; 5+ years capital project management in chemical manufacturing. Prefer PMC, MBA

Strong knowledge of unit operations/instrumentation/equipment and engineering drawings.

Construction management + process engineering experience.

MS Office/MS Project

Travel: 10% and regular time in plants.
