CAPEX Procurement Manager

$100,000-$130,000 base salary
Summary
We are seeking a CAPEX Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities for capital equipment, facilities, and large-scale investment projects. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Project Management to ensure capital purchases are cost-effective, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement for CAPEX projects including equipment, tooling, construction, and infrastructure
Develop sourcing strategies, run RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier selection
Partner with Engineering and Operations to align technical requirements with commercial terms
Manage supplier relationships and performance for capital vendors
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows, and financial controls
Support project timelines by managing lead times, risks, and change orders
Track savings, spend, and capital budgets; provide reporting to leadership
Identify cost reduction and standardization opportunities across capital spend
Qualifications
5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience with a focus on CAPEX
Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or facilities-driven environments
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a project-based setting
Bachelor's degree preferred
