Position Summary
Leads cross-functional sourcing initiatives, supplier strategies, and procurement projects
Drives cost, quality, delivery, and performance improvements across the supply chain
Partners with operations, engineering, and finance to align procurement with business goals
Ensures successful execution of projects from concept through production
Project Management & Execution
Lead end-to-end purchasing projects including new product launches and supplier transitions
Develop and manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Provide regular updates to leadership
Strategic Sourcing
Develop and execute sourcing strategies
Lead RFQ/RFP processes and negotiations
Drive cost savings and supplier consolidation
Ensure compliance with procurement policies
Supplier Management
Build and maintain supplier relationships
Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)
Lead audits and corrective action plans
Support supplier development initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with engineering on design-for-cost
Collaborate with operations on supply continuity
Work with finance on cost tracking and ROI
Coordinate with quality teams on supplier issues
Cost & Performance Management
Track cost savings and financial impact
Analyze market trends and supply risks
Drive productivity improvements
Domestic travel to plants and suppliers will be approximately 20‑30%
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of purchasing/supply chain experience
3+ years of project management experience preferred
