
Deployment Engineer

The Tech Operations team is responsible for deploying and maintaining Einride’s autonomous electric truck solution at client sites. Putting theory into practice, they get the wheels of change spinning.
You will:
Your mission when joining as Deployment Engineer is to ensure that our complex autonomous electric truck solution gets successfully installed and delivers on its promise of efficiency, safety, and reliability in the dynamic, unpredictable environments of public roads and customer sites. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, the speed of product iteration, and the overall scalability of an autonomous solution.
Analyze & Deploy:
Based on data collection from customer sites, simulate, optimize and ensure smooth, safe and efficient deployments.
Maintain & Troubleshoot:
Second‑line technical support and troubleshooting, making sure that issues are addressed and resolved accordingly.
Improve & Scale:
Analyze, optimize, and provide critical feedback to engineering and operations teams to ensure continued product improvements.
We expect you to:
Be the critical link between innovation and operation. That means possessing the deep software knowledge of a systems engineer, the hands‑on capability of a hardware technician, the systematic problem‑solving of a field diagnostician, and the polished communication skills of a technical consultant.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Automatic Control or similar.
Experience:
Prior experience as a software or simulation engineer within automotive, working with Autonomous Drive System (ADS) platform or other relevant settings is a plus.
Competence:
General wide software knowledge, network engineering, simulations, technical support and troubleshooting.
Language Skills:
Written and verbal fluency in English & Swedish.
Other:
Safety focused mindset, flexibility & clear communication are key skills for this role.
This is a full‑time position based in Gothenburg, with occasional customer and other stakeholder visits.
