Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced
CT Technologist
for a 13-week travel assignment in Brattleboro, VT.
Nights, 12 hours, 7:30PM - 7:30AM/Sunday-Tuesday/36 hours guaranteed

Weekend Requirements:
Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
On Call Requirements:
On call schedule to be determined by facility
This is a very rural area with limited housing options and public transportation. Please ensure your traveler is aware and is looking into options at time of submission. We can ask the facility if they have any housing leads but it is not guaranteed.
Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, the Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for the care and safety of patients who have CT exams; use of CT equipment; maintaining records pertaining to CT; stocking supplies and organizing the schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Provides accurate information to physicians, patients, and employees while maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality at all times.
Operates all CT equipment necessary to complete the examination as directed.
Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards and takes responsibility for the safety of all patients, self, and other healthcare workers.
Practices sterile techniques and prevents cross contamination.
Performs room set up, patient screening, patient positioning, imaging, and quality control.
Acquires the appropriate patient history on each patient and checks current laboratory values prior to contrast administration.
Administers oral and rectal contrast media as prescribed by the supervising Radiologist.
Places proper size intercaths for administration of opaque contrast media; administers IV contrast via power injector as prescribed by a Radiologist.
Identifies IV extravasations and/or early signs of contrast reaction and takes appropriate correction action(s) immediately.
Assists with the administration of drugs under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
Monitors the patient’s condition while in his/her care and takes appropriate action without delay if patient’s condition deteriorates.
Reports problems related to equipment, work methods, and procedures to the appropriate manager promptly.
Identifies minor malfunctions in the CT equipment and takes corrective action within the scope of the technologist’s ability in order to ensure quality patient care.
Access ports and assess patency and administer heparin anticoagulant.

Requirements
2+ years minimum of current CT and X-Ray experience in a hospital setting is required
Travel experience is highly preferred
ARRT is required
BLS (AHA) is required
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start)
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
