Job Overview
The Distribution Center (DC) Systems Analyst is responsible for planning, managing, and executing activities related to detailed analysis and redesigning of Distribution Center business processes. Working as a key team member within DC Operations, the analyst identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities enabled by SAP EWM, Blue Yonder functionality, and related bolt‑on applications. Under the direction of the Continuous Improvement Manager, the analyst also participates in planning and managing improvement initiatives related to SAP ERP releases, all DC non‑SAP software applications, and software upgrades.

A Day In The Life
Lead configuration changes for Warehouse Management system (WMS) applications.
Create and execute test scripts for new WMS processes.
Provide first‑level support for WMS maintenance, including wave, manifest, and load closing errors, and for handheld devices and printers; escalated unresolved issues to IT.
Translate user requirements into clear functional specifications for developers and project teams.
Draft specifications and flowcharts for system configuration based on business needs.
Create business intelligence reports from SAP and WMS to maintain system health.
Resolve inventory and delivery synchronization issues with the local inventory team.
Coordinate with key users at other Hubbell sites to ensure consistent configuration and application across the network, and liaise with cross‑functional and external parties on warehouse system projects.
Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to system users.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of database, table, and configuration relationships and dependencies.
Excellent communication skills and outstanding end‑user interaction, working with various Business Units and external customers.
High proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.
