Job Overview
An experienced System Engineer is needed to support modernization initiatives within complex operational environments. This role focuses on evaluating emerging technologies, supporting system integration efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance mission capabilities. This position is fully on-site in Honolulu, HI.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies for operational use
Identify system integration challenges and assess technical risks
Support planning and execution of demonstrations and experimentation effortsDevelop technical documentation, assessments, and briefings
Collaborate with engineering teams, operational units, and acquisition stakeholders
Assist in transitioning validated technologies into broader implementation pipelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
10+ years of experience (Senior level) or 15+ years (SME level)
Active Top Secret clearance
Background supporting defense systems or technology development programs
Strong understanding of system design, integration, and risk analysis
Active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
DAWIA Engineering certification or equivalent
Experience with major acquisition programs (ACAT), urgent operational needs, or adaptive acquisition frameworks
Background in systems engineering or complex system integration environments
