Position Summary
The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team and supports the Store Manager in leading and strategically operating a CVS/pharmacy store. Duties include driving store execution, fostering employee engagement, and enhancing customer service to build consumer loyalty. The Operations Manager works under the Store Manager’s supervision to maintain an engaged, productive, and well‑trained store team, leading by example.

Essential Functions
Management
Lead store associates and work effectively with team members.
Supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store’s crew.
Communicate information to crew and supervisors promptly and transparently.
Support the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement.
Customer Service
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer proficiency.
Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills.
Ability to work a full‑time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent store issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Pay
Typical hourly rate: $18.00 – $28.00. The actual base salary offered will vary based on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.
