Position Summary
A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

Manage store operations in coordination with store management and crews.

Supervise and direct the store’s crew, assigning tasks and following up on performance.

Communicate effectively with both store management and crew members.

Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote the CVS customer service culture.

Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.

Execute merchandising and presentation tasks: price merchandise, stock shelves, and maintain displays, signs, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.

Execute the display and maintenance of off‑shelf merchandise.

Reset departments following Point of Sale goals (POGs).

Required Qualifications

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer proficiency.

Advanced communication skills and experience supervising staff.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a retail supervisor.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Pay Range
$16.00 – $23.00 per hour. This reflects the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade. The actual base salary offered will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
