Preventative Maintenance Technician
We are a well‑established HVAC and commercial kitchen equipment service company serving the Southeast United States for over 30 years. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technician to join our Preventative Maintenance division and provide ongoing support for commercial kitchen, refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have experience in preventative maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on gas, electric, water, and steam‑powered commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients and minimizing downtime.
Ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Maintain detailed records of all repairs, services, and parts used; submit accurate service reports and invoices promptly.
Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; order and replenish supplies as needed.
Keep the company vehicle stocked with required parts.
Continuously update knowledge on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through ongoing training.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in appliance repair, HVAC, or related field preferred.
0–2 years of experience repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and gas systems; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA, or equivalent are a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Background screening clearance.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time‑management and prioritization ability.
Customer‑focused mindset and commitment to high‑quality service and satisfaction.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 50–75 pounds; frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance or heavy‑lift equipment.
Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods, and climb ladders.
Extensive daily travel to work sites.
Exposure to electrical, steam, and high‑heat units with strict safety precautions.
