Job Description
BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company, is hiring an entry level Associate Drainage Engineer. You will be trained and mentored under supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, gaining exposure to company standards and exciting projects. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a licensed engineer to perform spread calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, drainage tabulation analysis, and drainage map delineation for FDOT and other clients.

Approach tasks with an open mindset and propose innovative solutions to design problems.

Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer.

Track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers.

Manage timely completion of multiple assigned tasks.

Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required.

Present proposed design solutions in internal project meetings and support external presentations.

Work with internal and external sources on Environmental Resource Permitting (ERP) of projects.

Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns.

Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports.

Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

0-3 years experience

Salary Range
$26.59 - $46.54
