Roadway Engineer Intern
BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company, is looking for a Roadway Engineer Intern to contribute to large-scale engineering projects and gain practical experience in highway and roadway design. This internship is part of our Summer Internship Program with 170+ interns nationwide.
This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
What You'll Be Doing
Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Assist with the geometric design of highways and roadways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, superelevation diagrams, gore details, vertical clearance calculations, and grading plans.
Perform material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and field surveys as required.
Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to develop and implement project designs.
Provide technical guidance and input to CAD drafters, designers, and other engineers working on the project team.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project delivery.
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in an engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university and have completed typically 1+ year of studies in a major engineering discipline.

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14 per hour. We offer best‑in‑class benefits, including a 401(k) plan.
