Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with computer systems, data entry, and operating forklifts. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipment of goods while maintaining organized inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
Perform data entry and maintain shipping records using warehouse management systems
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and invoices
Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
Label, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role preferred
Proficiency with computers and data entry systems
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
