Job Description
The Senior Network Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and multi-tier support of complex enterprise networking solutions. The primary focus for this position will be supporting the Epic application ecosystem hosted in the cloud. You will serve as a key technical resource ensuring the security, scalability and high availability of the network infrastructure that enables our critical healthcare applications. You will work with cross-functional engineering teams and architects to drive the evolution of our network strategy.
Remote - This position can be remote if the hybrid criteria are not met.
Please note this position will be hybrid (3 days in office & 2 days WFH). The position can be based in one of the following locations: Secaucus, NJ, Lenexa, KS, Norristown, PA or Irving, TX.
Pay Range:
$112,000-$130,000/ year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
Provide input on the design and implementation of network infrastructure, specifically optimized for Epic cloud hosting
Lead and implement functional and enterprise IT projects prioritized to support for Quest’s IT strategy
Identify and resolve complex operational issues involving authentication, wireless and multi-routing infrastructure
Assist in business planning, including developing quotes, proposals, assessing needs and interacting with business stakeholders
Train and mentor team members to foster a high performing team
Analyze, test, document, implement, and provide operational support assistance across all corporate networking infrastructure and services.
Prepare and maintain up to date documentation for internal and external customers detailing the configuration of the solutions deployed.
Drive continual evolution and support of the network plan for consistency and growth.
Resolve and troubleshoot operational issues involving authentication, wireless, routers, switches, DDI, Cloud and VPN in a multi-routing (OSPF, BGP, static) infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Required:
6+ years of technical network engineering experience in an enterprise environment (routing, switching and firewalls)
Strong analytical and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize multiple initiatives and perform under pressure in an on-call rotation
Preferred:
10 + years of experience in enterprise network engineering specifically in the healthcare or highly regulated environment
Experience with cloud-based networking Azure, AWS and GCP specifically for Epic application hosting
Advanced knowledge of Cloud Networking (Azure/AWS/GCP), Cloud Transit Gateways, express routes, Load Balancing (Cloud Native, F5 and Citrix ADC) and Fortinet Firewalls.

Required Education:
BS in computer science, information technology, or equivalent professional work experience
Preferred Technical Training or Professional Licensing:
CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Security (CCNP Security)
Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certifications
Cloud specific networking certifications in Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Advanced Networking
English language required.
