
Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long-Term Care

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for the Long-Term Care Unit. The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide timely direct patient care for the residents assigned to within this department. This position will work collaboratively with Unit leadership to follow the scope of practice for the role.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living needs (hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, skin care, etc.) per care plan
Maintain resident safety and environment (respond to call lights, use safety equipment, prevent falls, clean unit)
Support residents with meals (deliver trays, help with feeding, use adaptive equipment, honor food preferences)
Assist with mobility and rehab needs (range of motion, walking, transfers, proper positioning, use of aids)
Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
Measure and record weight, intake and output
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
Help with resident social and emotional needs through interaction and companionship
Maintain confidentiality and residents' rights at all times
Report resident concerns, changes, or refusals to nurse promptly
Complete all required documentation in a timely manner per protocol
Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks may lead to contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues
Qualifications
Must have High School Diploma or GED
NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
BLS (must be through AHA or RQI)
Minimum 1-year as licensed CNA in a long-term care setting
Benefits and Additional Information
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours) 6:00–14:00
Orientation: Orientation must begin on Tuesday or Thursday (full-day availability required)
