DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Human Services Analyst, you will serve as the policy specialist for the Behavioral Health Medicaid program, having a leading role in the management and development of the HealthChoices Behavioral Health Managed Care program while ensuring consistency with state and federal standards and best practices in services delivery. Using a high degree of initiative and critical thinking skills, you will provide program direction regarding the interpretation and application of regulations and policies. This includes drafting bulletins, public comments, Medicaid State Plan Amendments, policy clarifications, and consultation on Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) related matters. You would also serve as the lead staff coordinating the review and approval of requests for the use of managed care reinvestment funds for critical services throughout the Commonwealth.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report to the office located at 303 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101, two days per week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
