The Department of Human Services (DHS), Bureau of Quality Management and Data Review is seeking a motivated Human Services Analyst who enjoys working with data to improve behavioral health services. In this role, you will help ensure that important information is accurate and useful for making program decisions. You will collaborate with program experts to solve problems and shape outcomes that benefit individuals and families. This position is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys solving complex issues and supporting program integrity.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports the review, validation, and analysis of data used to guide important decisions in behavioral health programs. As a Human Services Analyst, you will perform the following duties:
- Data Monitoring: Review encounter data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards
- Trend Analysis: Identify issues, patterns, and needed corrections to support reliable eligibility and exemption decisions
- Technical Guidance: Provide direction to contractors and partners on data submissions, error resolution, and reporting processes
- System Support: Assist with system updates, file exchanges, and access management to maintain secure and accurate data operations
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work with internal and external partners to resolve data concerns and support program improvements

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. You will be required to report to 303 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
