
MILDEC Planner

COLSA is seeking an experienced MILDEC planner to conduct direct liaison, integration and synchronization with Combatant Command (CCMD) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multi-national (JIIM) partners. MILDEC Planner is expected to provide expert advice and analytical support for MILDEC operations, and planning. The MILDEC Planner will also provide expert advice to DoW leadership of MILDEC policy, doctrine, decisions, trends, concepts, and studies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide expert advice and analytical support for MILDEC operations, planning, and organizational coordination efforts.
· Provide strategic and operational level planning support pertaining to CCMD contingency operations and strategic operations
· Provide senior staff advice and guidance regarding the establishment, management, and execution-level analysis for risk management relating to MILDEC operations.
· Support day-to-day office activities such as organizing and facilitating meetings, and managing systems/taskers.
· Analyze strategies, policies, doctrine, plans, capability gaps, and emerging trends to support decision-making related to the current and potential future threat environment.
· Coordinate and integrate CCMD plans with supporting/supported interagency partners.
· Provide advice on prioritization of strategy related programs.

Required Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: **
High School diploma or equivalent
8-10 years of related experience
Former military officer, warrant officer or NCO, training instructor or other related role in direct support of military operations
Must have completed one or more of the following Courses:
Joint Military Deception Training Course (JMTC)
Service Level MILDEC Course
MILDEC Theater Operations Course (MDTOC)
Possess recent knowledge of the CENTCOM AOR and proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive planning efforts.
Possess expert knowledge with the Joint Operations Planning Process
Possess superior oral and written communications skills, including an expert ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, deliver effective oral presentations, prepare written products and represent CCMD in interagency meetings.
Be capable of operating within a CCMD level headquarters as a strategic staff member with minimal guidance.
Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group and expertise with planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities. Coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community and to work effectively within a task organized "working group".
History of working within security protocols and classified environments
Experience in project planning and execution
Possess superior interpersonal, organizational, and management skills and an expert ability to conceptualize and lead complex analytic projects.
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages
Possess expert skills with Microsoft Office applications.
Position may require shift and weekend work as well as CONUS and OCONUS travel.
Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport
Candidate must currently hold a valid DoW Top Secret security clearance with access to SCI, and be able to maintain this level of clearance throughout employment; US Citizenship required;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree
Familiarity with HUMINT and Counter-Intelligence operations.
Graduate of Joint Information Operations Planning Course
Previous experience working with Special Access Programs
