We are seeking a skilled
CNC Machinist
to support a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for independently setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, ensuring precision, efficiency, and high‑quality output. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically strong, and experienced in troubleshooting machining processes while maintaining strict quality standards.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate CNC milling and turning equipment with minimal supervision
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to produce precision components
Install fixtures, align materials, and load tooling while setting offsets and verifying tool paths
Perform first article inspections and make adjustments to meet tight tolerances
Troubleshoot machining and setup issues related to tooling, programming, or equipment performance
Collaborate with programmers and operators to improve setup efficiency and product quality
Maintain accurate documentation for tooling, setups, and part specifications
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical inspection equipment
Modify basic G‑code elements (feeds, speeds, offsets) as needed
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
What You Bring
5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills and lathes)
3+ years of setup experience on multi-axis equipment (including live tooling or grinding)
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proven troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision
Proficiency with inspection tools and quality verification processes
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and reliability
