Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities.
Responsibilities
Responsible for activities including, but not limited to decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation
Responsible for various software applications, assembly, and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, pairing and replenishment of materials
Works in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies
The incumbent contributes to a positive patient experience by anticipating needs, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering confidence in the care provided
Performs related duties as required
Qualifications
Required:
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Licensure/Certification:
BLS required
IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified
Preferred:
Experience: 1 year in sterile processing (preferred)
