Senior Experimental Machinist
Position located in College of Arts & Sciences, Physics, BOSTON, MA.
Salary Grade 26, Range $23.67-$32.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
Perform highly skilled precision work in the design, development, machining, fabrication, assembly, and testing of a wide variety of scientific instruments and experimental equipment. Interact with scientists, engineers and students as required by supervisor on issues related to these tasks. Collaborate with a team of co‑workers in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.
Qualifications
Vocational/technical training with excellent knowledge of Computer Numeric Control (CNC) and conventional machining techniques.
CNC programming experience in Mastercam; a plus if skilled with SolidWorks for design.
Familiarity with tooling equipment and machining standards.
Five to eight years of experience minimum.
