As a part-time Van Driver, you will enhance the mobility of consumers by providing professional and accessible transportation in a safe, reliable, comfortable, and courteous manner. You will operate a county vehicle an average of 150 miles each day. This is an opportunity to provide transportation services as well as social contact for our consumers (including senior adults and wheelchair-dependent persons), while working independently. Excellent communication skills are required, both person to person and via two-way radio. Willingness and patience to assist consumers, including senior adults and wheelchair-dependent consumers along rough payment or unpaved paths is essential. This role requires the ability to easily adjust daily schedule. You will also have the opportunity to provide important assistance and socialization throughout the day.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Part-time employment, averaging 14 to 21 hours per week.
- Work hours vary between 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with limited hours on Saturday.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of employment which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
Conditions of Employment:
- No suspension of driver's license within the last three years.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
