Job Description

Represents the face of the company to patients, both for routine health or life‑defining decisions.

Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing, following established practices.

Has direct contact with patients, creating trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing specimens skillfully and safely.

Demonstrates Leadership Behaviors, focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy.

Assigned to a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other business‑determined location.

Under the direction of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time.

Maintains a safe and professional environment.

Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence.

Verifies patient demographic info/initials and patient signature post‑venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.

Maintains required records and documentation.

Demonstrates organizational commitment, promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).

Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.

Decision making based on established procedures, exercising good judgment.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations with minimal notice.

Capability to handle multiple priorities in a high‑volume setting.

Demonstrated superior customer focus and clear communication.

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

1–3 years phlebotomy experience required (pediatric, geriatric, capillary).

2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred.

Keyboard/data entry experience.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM.

Technical Certification Bonus:

One time bonus up to $500 for approved professional certification related to the position, awarded 90 days after receiving documentation of completion. Only active employees eligible.
