Job Description
As a Mechanical Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of plumbing systems. You will work on reading blueprints, installing pipe systems, and conducting system tests. Your role will involve collaborating with project teams, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing on-the-job training for apprentices.
Responsibilities
Install water supply, waste, and drainage systems in commercial buildings.
Troubleshoot issues in various plumbing systems.
Conduct pressure and leak tests to ensure system integrity.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes for installations.
Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards, and potentially conduct safety briefings.
Maintain accurate logs, as-built documents, and track material usage.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial plumbing.
Adherence to safety and building codes.
Communication skills to work with clients and other trades.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
4-7 years of experience in commercial plumbing.
Journeymen license is preferred.
Must have an OSHA 10 certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
