Luzerne County has an immediate need for an Intake County Casework Supervisor in its Children, Youth, and Families agency. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This supervisor position is the front line of our agency, responsible for the overall operational planning, direction, supervision and coordination of intake services. Our team will rely on you to oversee the team responsible for processing all referrals through our Screening Unit and ensure that each is served in compliance with timeliness and regulatory requirements. You will be expected to develop and maintain a working knowledge of all regulatory, policy, and procedure mandates; maintain statistics as outlined in our policies; and monitor the effectiveness of services provided through statistics and log keeping. Teamwork and collaboration are essential as you will also inform the Social Service Coordinator of service delivery issues or needs.
You will also complete frequent and regular review and analysis of case records, evaluate staff performance, and participate in planning and providing in-service training activities to meet the training needs of the workers to disseminate new or updated regulations and policies. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday - Sunday, with a 30-minute lunch, On-call.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Wilkes-Barre. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.
