Salary Range:
$73,300 – $79,300 (annually), based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Performs outreach and partnership event planning and program management that advance CAP’s mission and goals, including meeting objectives, producing post event‑debriefs, staffing partners during NHQ visits and activities, and representing the organization at public forums.
Manages a portfolio of national partnerships and alliances, executing stewardship plans and engagement cadence.
Tracks the full partnership lifecycle from prospecting through close and renewal, including maintaining documentation and tracking new and existing partner agreements.
Maintains ongoing partner engagement, monitoring satisfaction, participation, and impact through regular follow‑up and tracking.
Creates outreach content (written and media) for CAP publications and coordinates approvals and brand alignment with supervisor and Communications/Marketing, including media release permissions.
Executes and supports tactics to attract and retain volunteers and experts from federal, corporate, public and industry sectors; tracks participation and outcomes.
Coordinates member benefit fulfillment, documents SLAs, and resolves issues related to partnerships and outreach activities.
Coordinates and produces content for updates to CAP website pages related to partnerships and outreach, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with active initiatives; partners with MarCom/IT on publishing workflows.
Delivers monthly dashboards and quarterly summaries and provides data driven recommendations to improve targeting, conversion, and impact.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Philanthropy, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in event planning, partnership development, or a related role; experience managing a partner or outreach portfolio as an individual contributor preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to personally manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and administrative details simultaneously; excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in external representation; ability to work collaboratively and independently to complete tasks.
