Licensed Residential Electrician

Bacon Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electric is seeking dedicated licensed residential electricians who are able to inspect, diagnose and repair electrical systems, equipment and components to ensure compliance with all electrical codes.
Responsibilities

Participate in weekly huddles with the Electric Service Manager
Diagnose & repair residential electric applications per local and national codes
Inspect electric systems and equipment for any defects and provide the customer with repair/replacement options
Educate clients on their heating and air conditioning systems and maintenance requirements
Develop client rapport by communicating effectively with customers and providing excellent customer service
Communicate daily with dispatch in order to schedule work orders in a timely manner
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with all electrical codes
Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches, lifting heavy objects, crawling through small spaces, and be able to work in the cold and heat
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary
All apprentices are partnered with a lead technician. All work will be performed under the supervision of and in partnership with the lead technician. Apprentice duties involve assisting the lead technician with all of the duties listed above.
Requirements

Current TDLR license: Wireman, Journeyman or Master. Apprentice position availability not guaranteed.
2+ years of residential electric experience (apprentices: 1 year preferred)
In-depth knowledge of and understanding of the electric trade
Clean, neat and professional appearance
Excellent customer service and sales skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Excellent conflict management skills
Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity
Strong attention to detail and to manage multiple tasks and assignments
Team player with "can do" attitude
Able and willing to work on-call schedule rotation: nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Valid Texas driver license and at least 3 years of driving history
This position requires both a criminal background and a driving record check
