Distribution Coordinator at MKS Inc.
As a Distribution Coordinator at MKS Inc., you will partner with internal and external customers to provide world class distribution center centric support. In this role, you will report to the Materials Supervisor. You Will Make an Impact By:
Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of Travel may be required.
Skills You Bring:
Experience in shipping, receiving and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills
Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred
1+ years of related experience
Ability to do shift work when directed.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination. Operates in a warehousing environment. Constantly operates a computer and other productivity machinery. Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat. Noise level in the work environment is usually average.
