Responsibilities:
Oversee daily staffing and operations to meet production targets, including allocating personnel and equipment as needed.
Ensure service reliability by effectively dispatching drivers and proactively addressing potential disruptions.
Coordinate and supervise shipment scheduling to support timely and efficient deliveries.
Communicate with customers daily to assess fuel requirements, monitor market conditions, and confirm service availability.
Foster a high performance, positive work environment through professional communication and leadership.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and clear, consistent communication.
This role requires an average work schedule of 50-55 hours per week, including a rotating weekend schedule shared with other dispatch team members.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in trucking, delivery, dispatching, or customer service preferred.
Intermediate computer proficiency.
Ability to make sound decisions by balancing cost, customer expectations, and driver needs.
Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision making skills with a proactive mindset.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call schedules as needed.
