We’re seeking an experienced
Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Float Pool)
who will deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process and evidence-based standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, supervise assigned nursing staff, and apply clinical judgment to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
This Float Pool role supports flexibility across units while primarily focusing on the
6 South Telemetry Day Shift
assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify care priorities
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing support staff appropriately
Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care
Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions
Maintain a safe, healing, and culturally sensitive care environment
Document all care accurately and in compliance with hospital standards
Requirements/Qualifications
Education (Preferred):
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience (Preferred):
Required Licenses & Certifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or HeartCode ACLS)
Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
