The Spa Summer Internship at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines supports daily spa operations while gaining hands‑on experience in guest services, wellness treatments, and facility management. This role is ideal for students or individuals pursuing a career in hospitality, wellness, or cosmetology.
Exposure to spa operations and guest experience standards
Understanding of wellness treatments and spa services
Training in customer service and hospitality best practices
Insight into spa retail and product knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
Support front desk operations (appointments, check‑ins/check‑outs, phone inquiries)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, locker areas, and common spaces
Prepare treatment rooms (linens, supplies, sanitation)
Assist spa therapists and staff as needed
Replenish products and amenities throughout the spa
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Provide guests with information about services, products, and promotions
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in hospitality, cosmetology, wellness, or a related field (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift light supplies (e.g., linens, products)
