Temporary Position: Assistant Dive Coach

Position Summary
This part‑time position is responsible for assisting the Head Swimming and Diving coach in the management and administration of all phases of an intercollegiate sports program, upholding the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and the University.
Responsibilities
Assist in coaching during practices and competitions.
Teach and instruct student athletes about the sport.
Recruit new student athletes.
Provide academic supervision of athletes.
Coordinate travel and program management.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate coaching experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of NCAA Division I athletics dive program.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Knowledge of Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) preferred.
Work Schedule and Hours
Temporary position. Flexible hours, evenings and weekends as determined by business need.
Compensation
$1,600 per month.
