French – Generalist Voice Actor (AI Training)
What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of French speakers around the world? We’re looking for skilled French voice actors and voice‑over professionals to record high‑quality audio and evaluate AI‑generated speech — helping train the next generation of AI language models to sound genuinely human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced voice talent. No AI background required — just fluent, expressive French and a professional setup ready to deliver.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: Flexible — work on your own schedule
This role supports AI speech development and does not involve voice cloning of any kind.
What You’ll Do
Record clear, high‑fidelity French audio using provided scripts and prompts
Evaluate AI‑generated speech for naturalness, expressiveness, accuracy, and flow
Provide structured, constructive feedback to help improve synthesized voice quality
Review and refine scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
Full fluency in spoken French — native or near‑native
Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio roles
Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment
Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well‑articulated performances consistently
Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall vocal clarity
Detail‑oriented when evaluating and giving feedback on audio quality
Nice to Have
Experience recording for commercial, educational, or entertainment audio projects
Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAWs
Knowledge of regional French variations — European, Canadian, African, or otherwise
Background in linguistics, communications, or performing arts
Why Join Us
Work on cutting‑edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and Fortune 500 companies
Fully remote and flexible — record and review on a schedule that suits you
Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task‑based work
Make a direct impact on how AI understands and produces natural French speech
High performers may take on leadership roles and mentor incoming voice contributors
Gain firsthand exposure to advanced large language models and modern AI training processes
Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
